It's hot in the house because of a heater/dehumidifier - and the fans are really noisy - we hang out outside or go on errands as much as possible. They said it could take up to a week to dry out. So many things I could say about that - but so little time.

The water actually traveled into Emmett's room, the bathroom, the loft, downstairs into the side wall - and down into the basement.

You can actually see how the water traveled into our loft and turned the corner. I think it really REALLY wanted to make it down the stairs.

YIKES!! I am assuming your homeowners will cover the costs, but then, your premiums will skyrocket, so that's a bummer all the way around. . I'm sorry.
HOLY MOLY! I cannot believe it... Alex was telling us about it today on our drive home from the airport. SO SORRY! Let us know if we can do anything!
Wow! What a crazy situation. How much longer do you have to put the fans on? These types of disasters are never fun, especially if you play/fake that it's an "adventure" to humor your kids!!! Hope the mess gets cleaned up soon.
OH! I am sooo sorry! How are you holding up? Still laughing? Hang in there!
