In Very Random Order:
On our way back from Cancun. We had been at the airport since 10:30am and didn't leave until 4pm because of delay.
These little yappers woke us up at 6:15am every morning on the dot.
Coba Mayan ruins: It's a sport/ritual/human sacrifice ruin
Climbing the Coba temple. INCREDIBLE
A Cenote on a very long random road and it was gorgeous and there was NO one there.
Finishing the trek up and down without my hips giving out.
A beautiful city: Valladolid about 2 1/2 hours from Cancun. Built in about 1550s and was a center for the Catholic movement in the Yucatan.
Getting ready for our yummy gourmet breakfast we had every morning. We never ate lunch we were so full.
The view in Akumal while Alex snorkeled
I hid from the sun the whole time while Alex played around in the sun.
In our Hotel having an authentic meal.
Snorkeling in a lagoon close by. Even though it was warm, I only lasted 20 min before my lips turned purple. I decided I liked it just as much looking at the water.
GORGEOUS sunset on the beach right by us. No one was there.
Finding shells.
Eating at the most delicious restaurants away from all the tourists in Tulum. My mouth is still watering.
Alex eating his first ever order of fish. He says he "hates fish".
Obviously he's never had fresh fish because he ate it in about 2 seconds. Like butter.
This monkey was so so cute.
Alex was disgusted I wanted to hold the iguana.
Ruins of Tulum.
My mind being blown while our guide was teaching us about the Mayans.
They don't have the PC we do here in the USA obviously
More Mayan ruins.
View from a close beach side restaurant. Loooooved it. Except for the nude beach 1/4 away.
View from the top of our room
Saying goodbye to Casa Amor Del Sol
Alex getting in one last swim.
Alex getting us lost in the center of the "hood" of Cancun. Thanks.
Chillaxin on the beach
Getting ready for another beach walk
Night life was a little dead though
Tulum town center.
