Handy Man

WHY WE ARE REPLACING THE CARPET!!
and why you should never buy a house that had a puppy before
...and why we'll never GET a puppy.

I'd show you more but I don't want to make you sick.

Alex has always been handy - but the past few weeks he has gone above and beyond the call of duty - or the call of a dirty house. My mom came to visit a few weeks ago to help out, but she unfortunately let me borrow the Twilight books and of course I read them all instead of helping out around the house. Poor Alex had to clean, work on the house AND not have a wife around while I finished the books as soon as possible :) Actually, I did try to only read the books while I nursed Emmett. They're a quick read!

Here is a perfect example of how awesome he is.
He finished the kitchen floor just in time to do the dishes!!!
I can't wait for a new black table (may be 3 years from now?) and a new rug for the floor.

Here is the before shot - and the partially after shot of the hallway.

It was scary (underneath) when we pulled up the carpet in our front room too. Yech! I love our wood floors and I know that they are clean! Your house looks great! Oh! And the picture "collages" I have on my blog...I do with a program called "photomix"-It's super easy, simple, fast, and inexpensive! (photomix.com) Thanks!

What about kittens? Will you ever have kittens?

How the heck are you guys? I've wondered a time or two what y'all are up to. I don't read other people's blogs much, but if I ever need an update, I guess I know where to find ya. I came here while I was bored at work and following links to people I know through mutual friends' blogs. Go fig. Kinda creepy, I know. Makes me reconsider keeping my blog public if random people from my past can just stumble across me like that. I hope you don't mind. :-)

Cute kids! Nice place. Good to see y'all are alive and well. :-)
