I'm sure this is part I of future blogs - but this one will be my ode to quilts. My home has a few special treasures around each room that I couldn't part with. One of my treasures are my quilts! I just treasure gifts that I know took a LONG time to make. I can't put all of them up - but here are some of my favorites.

Right now we have 5 quilts actually hanging up on our walls and hopefully MORE some day. I just love them! I don't have time to do a close up of them so you can see the details. But they are awesome!!! (subtle hint anyone?)

I thought Emmett's room was going to be Calvin and Hobbs? What happened to that idea? I love his quilt though! I sometimes wish I knew how to do quilts. Then I think of the time that goes into them, and remember I DONT have the time it takes!
Those are incredible. It's one of my goals to learn how to quilt. One day, I'm sure...
